Our Story
The New London Area Chamber of Commerce was established in 1952 as a 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization with a mission to strengthen the local business community and promote economic growth throughout the New London area.
Since its founding, the Chamber has supported local businesses through advocacy, networking opportunities, community events, and business resources, all with a focus on creating a strong, connected, and vibrant community.
Over the years, the Chamber has evolved to meet the needs of a growing region, expanding its programs and services while staying true to its core mission: to help businesses succeed and make the New London area a great place to live, work, and visit.
Today, the New London Area Chamber of Commerce serves as a hub for business development, community engagement, and economic opportunity, working alongside local leaders, entrepreneurs, and residents to build a stronger tomorrow.
